Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had an outstanding experience working with Symmetric Electric Ltd. and Dan Kraus.
From the very beginning, Dan demonstrated a level of professionalism, technical expertise, and integrity that is hard to find in the industry today. He took the time to thoroughly understand the scope of our building at 426 Ossington Ave, and approached the electrical assessment with a methodical, detail-oriented mindset.
What truly stood out was his ability to translate complex electrical systems into clear, actionable insights. He didn’t just “look at panels”—he conducted a structured investigation, identified potential cross-feeding issues, and provided a clear path forward to bring the building into a safe, compliant, and properly organized condition. This aligns exactly with the type of work required in a mixed-use property where life-safety systems and tenant separation must be handled correctly.
Dan’s communication was excellent throughout:
• Transparent about scope and expectations
• Honest about unknowns (which is critical in older buildings)
• Flexible and solution-oriented
• Focused on doing the job properly—not cutting corners
He also demonstrated strong accountability around ESA requirements, inspections, and documentation, which is essential not only for compliance, but also for insurance, resale value, and landlord-tenant considerations.
If you are looking for an electrician who operates at a high professional standard, understands multi-unit and mixed-use buildings, and takes pride in delivering correct, compliant work, I would highly recommend Symmetric Electric.
This is the type of contractor you want involved when the goal is not just to “fix something,” but to do it right and stand behind it.
